Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, Multicultural Intervention which typically utilizes the family therapy approach to treating psychological issues. Our Practice defines “the family” by the culture, relationships and rules within that unit. Each member of your family plays a significant role in
the therapeutic process.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey.
The main goal during multicultural therapy is to help you develop a healthy ethnic and cultural self-image, self-acceptance and self-esteem and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) psychotherapist with over 17 years of clinical expertise in private and government settings. Skilled in providing services to a diversified population of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families utilizing various theoretical approaches including solution-focus, cognitive behavioral, and family systems. While working with couples, I use an integrative approach drawing from major perspectives such as family systems, behavioral, and some aspects of psycho-dynamic approaches. I believe that by focusing on and educating couples to recognize unfulfilling patterns of behaviors in their relationship and replacing those patterns with supportive, accepting and loving behaviors couples can heal and foster positive relationships.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
